A Working Partnership

Mike Porcarelli, Steve Filippone, Cliff Person, and Curt Comstock enjoy a close working relationship with their clients. It's easy to see why clients feel at ease allowing Whitefish Builders freedom to offer alternatives at every phase of the development of the project. Experience enhances problem solving ability and allows for a first hand relationship with our employees, subcontractors and material suppliers. Most importantly, this enables us to keep on track and our clients well informed throughout the entire building process.
Mike Porcarelli has been working in the construction trades for
over 25 years, focusing his skills on the carpentry trade. He brings
this experience into our project organization and management.
Mike was raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. While attending
the University of Colorado, Mike was a member of both the CU
and US Ski Teams. While there he visited Whitefish and the
Flathead Valley. He settled here in 1972 with his wife Sherry.
They now have a grown daughter and a grandson and continue
to enjoy camping, hiking, skiing and motorcycling.
Steve Filippone was born in San Antonio,
Texas. He moved to the Flathead Valley
in 1977, working for 3 years in Glacier
National Park as a Back Country Carpenter
and also restoring Historic National Park
buildings. Steve has been involved in all
forms of commercial and residential
construction, from concrete to cabinet work.
Cliff Persons is a native Montanan, raised in Deer Lodge. As
a young man, he worked as a smoke-jumper in the summers
and developed a passion for skiing and ski towns, eventually
settling in Whitefish in the sixties, where he began his career
in carpentry.
Curt Comstock has been working in the building industry
since the age of 15. He left Los Angeles in search of a
quieter life, settling in Whitefish in 1976 and immersing
himself in the western lifestyle. He enjoys horses, wilder--
ness packing, and western dancing.
